I was wondering if someone could tell me the Alexandria City policies or law on rental agreements.  My situation I moved in a town house in Alexandria in May.  I never signed a contact and the women before me had fulfilled there lease.  I never signed anything with the current landlord.  But I paid the girl a deposit fee of $520.  I now want to move out but want to know the policy of how far in advance I have to legally tell the landlord being in no way bound in any contract with him...I want to get my deposit back.
