Event Details Vacation Bible School Date: 7/14/2009 until 7/18/2009 Time: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Location: Franconia United Methodist Church, 6037 Franconia Road, Alexandria, VA 22310 (View Map) Description: Franconia UMC Vacation Bible School, July 13-17 Catch The Spirit! Activity-based learning experience designed for grades 1-8. Children will see Bible stories come to life in the dramas, and reflect on them in small groups. Join The Action! Hands-on activities invite children and adults to participate in art, handcrafts, drama, outdoor activities, and service projects. A separate curriculum is written for age 4 through kindergarten. It will be held at Anthony T. Lane Elementary School, 7137 Beulah Street, Alexandria, VA 22315, from 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. . Our monthly yard sales feature between 20 and 50 sellers, depending on weather conditions and time of year. You will find everything from antiques to toys to clothing to furniture. Browsing is free; spaces for vendors are $15. Vendors may register online at www.alexjaycees.org/yardsales.htm.
